 Subscriptions are for individuals only, and are non-transferrable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, revocable, and limited. You are not permitted to register corporate businesses or multiple individual practitioner names under a single individual subscription. If you violate this term, your profile will be immediately suspended or deleted. 

Practitioner profiles and subscription eligibility are strictly limited to fully registered psychologists with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). Practitioners must maintain active, unrestricted registration to remain listed. Practitioners voluntarily submit their clinical data and professional details to the platform, authorizing Find a Psychologist Australia staff and agents to display and disclose this data to the public as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

General users can browse this public site freely. To engage with a listed practitioner, users may utilize the 'Contact Me' function, phone or email the practitioner directly, or voluntarily submit details via the 'Fast Track' match portal. Users acknowledge that entering details into the 'Fast Track' portal makes their contact information visible to matching local practitioners who may call or email them. It is the user's sole responsibility to remove their Fast Track entry once their match requirements are fulfilled. Fast Track entries will automatically expire and be deleted from the live system after registering 10 practitioner calls, or after a total duration of two (2) weeks, whichever occurs first.

Educational worksheets and professional resources made open to the public are subject to change and may transition to a restricted, premium subscription model at the sole discretion of Find a Psychologist Australia.

3. Professional Services Disclaimer

Find a Psychologist Australia is a platform designed to connect users with registered psychologists, and though run by psychologists and administrators, we are not a healthcare or mental health care provider ourselves. The website does not offer or constitute medical advice or mental health treatment. Nor does it or do they substitute for professional psychological therapy or diagnostic services. Any information or advice provided through the platform should not be considered as a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your GP or specialist, e.g. Dietician or other qualified mental health provider, e.g. Psychologist, with any questions you may have regarding a medical conditions or mental health issue.

3a No referral relationship

This site provides a platform for uses and registered psychologist to connect, however no user is exclusive and the service is for help but does not create a psychologist-user/client relationship, or a relationship with Find a psychologist Australia. 

4.  User-Generated Content and Prohibition of Testimonials

As part of using the Find a Psychologist Australia platform, you may create an account and contribute content, which is strictly limited to technical website feedback, system inquiries, or account questions. You agree to provide honest, accurate, and respectful communication at all times.

In strict compliance with Section 133 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, users are strictly prohibited from posting clinical reviews, subjective ratings, or patient testimonials regarding any listed psychologist's services, performance, or outcomes.

Find a Psychologist Australia does not host, permit, or publish clinical patient testimonials. We reserve the absolute right to monitor, filter, edit, or immediately delete any user-generated content that violates Australian health advertising regulations or is deemed inappropriate at our sole discretion.

5. Privacy and Data Security

Your privacy and the protection of your personal data are important to us. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We employ security measures to protect your data, but please note that no data transmission over the internet can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Dispute Resolution and Mandatory Mediation:
Before commencing any formal legal proceedings, litigation, or arbitration, both you and Find a Psychologist Australia agree to attempt to resolve any dispute or grievance through informal, good-faith commercial mediation.

Either party may initiate this by providing a written Dispute Notice to the other party. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of the notice, the parties agree to submit the matter to a mutually agreed-upon mediator in the relevant Australian jurisdiction, with the costs of mediation shared equally.

Class Action Waiver:
To the extent permitted by law, any formal claims brought against Find a Psychologist Australia must be conducted strictly on an individual basis. You agree that you may only bring claims against us in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff, class member, or representative in any purported class or representative proceeding.
